In thinking about ways that we might be able to help our local residents navigate through COVID19, we are reminded of those who are shut in and not able to be with their families at this time.  It occurred to our agency that if we could help the residents of our local nursing homes be able to connect with their loved ones via FaceTime or video chat, that might help to keep the residents spirits up.  The Pocahontas Manor and the Laurens Good Samaritan Center both told us that they would love to receive additional equipment to help their residents connect.  We are excited to help in this small way by donating to each facility an iPad Air, Carrying Case, and Digital Crayon with the hope that our residents know we care about them and that we will get through this together!
